These bloody Keas are a damned menace!
A mate and I were stalked by these birds high up in the snow-line. At 3am I awoke to find one on my back with blood on my neck, another in the tussock to my left and three more nearby making off with a sock, the lace of my mate’s boot and his watch.
this reminds me of Yellowstone and Alaska
those birds make the most pleasant chirps!
